The 8.0 release provides support for In-Memory Tables, a new Administration WebUI, and orchestration tools for containerized deployments of ClustrixDB. This release also includes improvements to stability, MySQL compatibility, and ease of use. 

New Features

  • Support for In-Memory Tables, which are kept in memory and provide a significant performance improvement for high write workloads where durability is not critical.

  • Support for encryption on disk with Zettaset. For more information, contact [email protected] 

Upgrade Alerts

The following are key changes being made in the 8.0 version of Clustrix that should be reviewed before upgrading to this release:

  • is no longer available for email alerts. You must configure an smtp server to continue to receive database alerts. For guidance, please see Database Alerts.

Other Improvements

The 8.0 release also includes:

  • Updates to ClustrixGUI, including a new In-Memory tab and improvements for stability and performance 
  • Improvements to supportability including performance improvements for Flex Down and updates to the clx command.
