The 8.0 release provides support for In-Memory Tables, a new Administration WebUI, and orchestration tools for containerized deployments of ClustrixDB. This release also includes improvements to stability, MySQL compatibility, and ease of use.
Support for In-Memory Tables, which are kept in memory and provide a significant performance improvement for high write workloads where durability is not critical.
The following are key changes being made in the 8.0 version of Clustrix that should be reviewed before upgrading to this release:
noderelay.clustrix.com is no longer available for email alerts. You must configure an smtp server to continue to receive database alerts. For guidance, please see Database Alerts.
